In today's high tech world, our youth is less and less able to effectively communicate and express their opinions, feelings and ideas. Hence, way too often they are not ready for the business environment and team work which requires the ability to speak, listen and interact effectively as a team.
Our NewGen SpeakUp! program is designed to help students practice their communication skills in a supportive environment where they learn through experience the elements of effective communication, such as, but not limited to:
- Vocal projection and variety to project confidence
- Body language and hand gestures that are in alignment with the message
- Easy to follow structure of the content that captures and keeps audience's attention
- Ability to confidently express their thoughts and opinions in concise manner
- Ability to listen attentively and provide constructive feedback that empowers others
- And many more elements

Helping Youth MAXimize Their Leadership Potential
YouthMAX Plus is the exciting John Maxwell Team youth leadership program, featuring YouthMAX Plus Ambassador, Nick Vujicic.
Inspired by leadership principles of John Maxwell, YouthMAX Plus inspires and equips young people to value themselves and others. In this program, YouthMax Plus ambassador, Nick Vujicic, shares valuable life lessons such as developing and maintaining a positive self-image, showing compassion to others, persevering in the midst of adversity, and creating a daily routine of successful attitudes and behavior. Through engaging and interactive sessions facilitated by a certified John Maxwell Team Member, students will learn how self-leadership allows them to be a positive influence with their family, teachers and peers.
PROGRAM CURRICULUM
The YouthMAX Plus with Nick Vujicic program consists of 5 facilitator-led sessions that include lessons and activities for YouthMAX Kids (ages 8-11) and YouthMAX Teens (12-18). Each leadership topic is introduced by Nick Vujicic in a video. Each video lesson is supplemented with an exercise (facilitated by NewGen Global Leader facilitator, a John Maxwell Team member) that is designed to allow students to apply each leadership principle.
